Japan’s former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka pulled out of the ASB Classic final in Auckland, New Zealand, after winning the first set against Denmark’s Clara Tauson 6-4 on Sunday.
The WTA Tour’s official website said the 57th-ranked Osaka retired with an abdominal injury, giving No. 50 Tauson her third career title on the tour.
