A German-developed smartphone app is finding a growing fan base among table tennis enthusiasts who want to connect with opponents and search for places to play as its developers have started looking at markets outside the country.
In Germany, table tennis has long been a sport for all ages, and more than 2,000 concrete table tennis tables are available at parks in Berlin alone for daily use, allowing families and friends to enjoy it as a casual hobby.
