Japanese right-back Seiya Maikuma scored his first goal for AZ Alkmaar on Thursday during a 2-2 draw away to Ludogorets in the league phase of the Europa League.
The 27-year-old, who played for Japan at the Asian Cup early in the year and joined the Dutch side in the summer, doubled their lead in the 19th minute in Bulgaria, steering a left-footed effort inside the far post off Ernest Poku’s cutback from the right.
