Japan’s WBO bantamweight champion Yoshiki Takei on Wednesday withdrew from his scheduled second title defense in January after suffering an injury in training.
The fight was to be on the same card as undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue’s bout against Australia’s Sam Goodman on Jan. 24 at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena.
